This is the first of our Shorts format, where we release things we’ve recorded outside the confines of a usual show.

For more Treyf related listening on this subject, check out Episode 25 which features an interview with Karen Brodkin, author of ‘How Jews Became White Folks,’ reflecting on the stories that white Jews tell about Jewish history and the differences between structural racism & bigotry. Episode 25 also includes an interview with Benjamin Balthaser, professor of multiethnic US literature at Indiana University-South Bend, about rural anti-Semitism and the institutions behind it. You can also listen to our Short episode with Mark Tseng Putterman, which consists of Putterman’s response to Episode 25 and the elements that we left out in our earlier discussion.
